Executive Coaching
What Does An Executive Coach Do Exactly?

What Qualifies You To Offer This Kind Of Help?
I joined San-Francisco-based BetterUp in 2019 as an independent contractor coach. BetterUp only hires the best of the best, with only eight percent of applicants passing their rigorous selection process. To remain coaching with BetterUp, I am required to maintain high satisfaction ratings from my members (coachees).
In October 2021 I retired from my role in human resources in a large health system. I did assessments similar to cultural audits in workplaces where tension and conflict exist. By interviewing staff (often nurses and physicians), I gathered themes and created and presented a report with recommendations for a healthier and more respectful work environment.
What Are Sessions Like?
There are likely a lot of demands on your time as an executive, so session lengths are flexible for executive coaching. They can be as quick as 30 minutes or as long as an hour to 90 minutes. We can work something out that fits our schedules. I typically meet by Zoom or a similar video platform, but telephone will work just as well.

Do You Offer A Consultation To See If We’re A Good Fit?
Of course! I invite you to book a Discovery Call on my calendar. This is informal and absolutely free of any obligation whatsoever. It’s an opportunity to get to know one another and get an idea of where you are and where you would like to be.
