Career Coaching

Career Coaching for Mid‑Career Professionals

You’ve worked hard to build your career, but something isn’t quite fitting anymore. You might feel stuck, underused, or unsure what the “next chapter” should look like. You don’t want to throw everything away—but you also don’t want to stay where you are.

Career coaching gives you a structured, supportive space to clarify what you really want, explore your options, and design a path that aligns with your strengths and values.

I’m Brent Roy, an ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC)—a credential held by fewer than 5% of ICF‑credentialed coaches globally, and I’m currently the only MCC in New Brunswick, Canada. From my base in New Brunswick,  Canada, I coach clients online across Canada and around the world.

Find a Career Path That Fits Who You Are Now

Together, we’ll focus on:

If you’re ready to explore your next step, book a free discovery consultation.

I can also help with coaching around communication-related topics such as confident presentation preparation, preparing for high-stakes or difficult conversations, conducting impactful meetings and leading meaningful 1:1 conversations.

What Are Sessions Like?

Sessions are via Zoom and are scheduled for 30 minutes, but can sometimes be up to 40 minutes in length. The emphasis is on you. You decide on what you want to work on. My role is to support you in reaching your desired outcomes.

I offer an hourly rate as well as package rates based on the work we’re doing. When we connect to discuss working together we can review my rates and decide what is best for you.

The people I work with are highly motivated for change. All my clients who sought a clear career path or a promotion with their current organization have been successful in obtaining it. I did not promise such results to them, nor can I to you. I am here to ask questions, challenge your thinking and support you in a safe and confidential space. Ultimately, you are responsible for creating your own decisions and results.

I’ve helped several of my clients with these challenges. Often, it’s fine-tuning these skills that can help you attain the competitive edge you’re looking for in your career. You can read more about my approach to executive presence

The session with Brent was engaging and interactive. The outcomes from this session were not only informative but provided sharing of information along with reinforcement of some personal preconceived ideas and thoughts.

Brent Roy is an exceptional coach and a genuinely grounded person. He brings a calm, steady presence that makes it easy to open up and think things through without ever feeling judged or rushed. It’s clear he truly cares about the people he works with. What stands out most is how he listens. Brent doesn’t try to impress or jump in with quick answers. Instead, he asks thoughtful, straightforward questions that help you find your own clarity. Many of the biggest insights come from something he asks that seems simple at first but stays with you long after the conversation. Brent brings deep experience and wisdom to his coaching, but what makes him especially effective is how naturally he shows up — humble, curious, and fully present. If you have the opportunity to work with Brent, you’ll be in very capable hands.
